Delete your TalkXp account

From the app, in three steps

1. Open TalkXp and go to the Account tab.
2. Tap Settings, then Delete my account, at the bottom of the screen.
3. Confirm. If your account has a password you will be asked for it; an account created with Google or Apple does not need one.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It cannot be undone.

Without the app

Write to contact@talkxp.com from your account address, with “account deletion” as the subject. We check that it is really you, then proceed within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your first name, last name, email address, phone number and country.
• Your profile photo and any files you sent.
• Your messages, your expert profile if you have one, your favourites and your sign-in methods.

What is kept, and why

Invoices and the accounting records of sessions already held are kept for ten years, as French law requires of every company. They are kept without your identity: the amounts remain, your name does not. The same applies to the financial records documenting VAT already declared and to the annual seller income report (DAC7).

None of those records can identify you after deletion.

Before you delete

A session that is paid for but not yet held must be cancelled or completed first. If you are an expert, any amount still owed to you is paid out on the usual schedule.
