I am a licensed plumbing contractor in Arizona and I run a six-person shop in Phoenix. I walk you through reading a US plumbing plan, what an inspector will actually look at, and which European habits will fail inspection every single time. Trap arm lengths and venting are where most owner-led remodels get red-tagged. The other half of my work is hard-water country: water heaters that die in six years instead of twelve, softeners set wrong by the installer, and scale that quietly kills fixtures. That is all diagnosable from photos and a couple of numbers off your water report.
